ABSTRACT:
This work is the result of a study that aims to characterize an ubuesque neoscience. To do so, the study aims to investigate discursive practices in science regions that, before imaginary solutions, allow to think on a neoscience that aggregates both ubuesque humour and imagination, deals with life and death, and produce truths that constitute ways of living. Such elements intersect with ubuesque power, mentioned by Michel Foucault in his work Abnormal (1974-1975). To analyse these practices, we took archiving as methodological procedure, according to Julio Groppa Aquino. From the approximation of the Foucauldian thought with Alfred Jarry’s literature, especially his creations Pa Ubu and ‘Pataphysics - the science of imaginary solutions -, we characterize an ubuesque neoscience.
